Created by BAFTA-nominated writer and playwright Clive Exton, this series of twelve soap-style dramas takes a light-hearted look at the varied inhabitants of Carlisle Crescent, a fictitious West London street, who share communal gardens but little sense of community spirit.
The focal point for 'the Crezz' is the Gardens Committee chaired by lecturer Charles Bronte (Ackland). Although desperately keen to foster a sense of cohesion, he is often forced to mediate in the disputes that arise among the Crescent's residents.
